Home library service is available to residents who are unable to visit the library and do not have family or friends who can assist them with either transport or selection and collection of library material. Library staff interview customers to determine requirements so that suitable library materials are provided. The selected material is delivered to the home library service customer and items due for return are collected.

The home library service is provided by library staff at the Proserpine Library.

The Nursing Home service enables nursing homes within the Whitsunday area to receive a bulk loans on a monthly basis.

Alternatively, library members can receive individual deliveries as a part of the Home Delivery service.

Visits to the Proserpine Nursing Home are usually done Wednesdays on a monthly basis.
