Q150 Celebrations Minimize
  Queensland turns 150 in 2009 Q150 logo

 

This year Queensland will celebrate 150 years of independence from New South Wales on 10 December 2009. Throughout 2009, towns and cities all over Queensland will be involved in activities, projects and events to celebrate our 150th Birthday. This is known as the Q150 celebrations.

Whitsunday Regional Council is holding events in at Bowen on the 7th November and Collinsville on the 12th September.

This milestone provides a unique opportunity to celebrate Queensland throughout 2009.

Celebrations will engage Queenslanders from every corner of the State.

Join in the celebrations today.
